Hey Aiden, I'm updating on this situation again, and it turns out that this is actually frequently asked by users for proboards, since it's software rooted. (Which sucks!) The good news is that when the next version of proboards comes out, they say an other gender option will be available, which will hopefully update within this year. For the time being I've added a separate profile field called "Gender" which shows on your mini profile, so if you hide the gender you used to sign up with, you can input in this area with what you want. There's also a pronouns option if you just want to refer your pronouns.
